i've got a 98 blazer. and its slowly sucking the money out of my wallet.
when im going straight, there really isn't much of a noise. when i turn left. there is a humming sound, and when i turn right. there is a more of a clunking sound. i have no idea what it could be or how else to describe it. so feel free to ask questions!

Search this forum for the hood hinge noise - I think that's what you're talking about. Simple fix if it is!

The humming sound when turning left is likely caused by a failing right wheel bearing assembly.
The clunking noise could be a bad sway bar end link or could be the hood. A loose hood hinge bolt should make a more consistent tap/clunk noise though. I would inspect the sway bar end links.

well guys, i finally got it apart today. once i got the wheel off the problem was super obvious. the spindle nut broke! it clean broke right in half, never seen anything like it before. half the nut just broke off and it was able to back itself off. the oblongated part that locks it in sheared from the nut itsself, and allowed it to back off. new nut and im good to go.
