if you do the $80 kit from eBay and do the work yourself, you shouldnt spend over $100, dependin on if you have to buy new hardware for the shackles. thatd be the easiest and cheapest way to go id think

I am also wanting to do an inexpensive lift for my blazer and would like to have that ZR2 look. Where would I be able to find a ZR2 suspension, other than a junkyard, to swap onto mine? Or is the Rough Country kit basically the same thing? I have never lifted a vehicle before so this is uncharted waters for me.

Search around the forum a bit and you will find that the easiest way to get a little lift is a tbar crank and shackles. Its been coverd a million times just gotta look for it! The zr2 suspension cannot be swapped into a non zr2 with the exception of the tbars which is a common swap for people as they are a little beefier than the non zr2 bars. Even with the bars swapped there is only about 1.5 to 2 inches to be gained before you start putting serious stress on your front end parts and wearing them out really quickly. Like I said just search around and read through the posts on here and you will learn alot.

Hey thanks for the info. Talked to some people today that have zr2s and they had said the same. Now I just gotta find the parts...... The decision now will be new? or junk yard? Its all up to me now! Oh boy something else to rack my brain on.
