Default Why do I have vacuum in 2wd.

I have a 1999 4.3, 3 button four wheel drive. When it's in 2wd there is still vacuum to the actuator on the front finder. It keeps my front diff engaged all the time. Anybody run in to this before?

sounds like the vac switch on the transfer case is either bad or stuck.

x2...fairly common. Sometimes the switch just sticks open and vacuum is applied to the actuator constantly. A relatively simple and inexpensive fix.
