My second post in 10 minutes. I'm having work done on the front end of my 2000 blazer with 4wd. Inner and outer tie rods and lower ball joints have been replaced. I'm about to order upper control arms, and shocks. Any opinion on brand names? Mevotech, Dorman, Moog? Rock Auto, and Parts Geek seem to have good prices. Are Mevotech parts good for the Idler arm and the Pittman arm? I'm not gonna be doing any serious stump jumping. Probably not even any off-roading at all, just don't want to get stuck in the snow or ice. I do tow a light camper, less than 1500lbs.

No opinion here, sorry about the lack of help, but I'm curious, too.

I'm planning to go through my front end after the first of the year, and when I was pricing out parts on rock auto, I was kinda surprised at the wide difference in prices for the same part.

If u wanna do it right, then buy the moog!!! If u don't mind frequently replacing parts, then use whatever else....

I don't recommend buying mevotech. I would recommend, Moog or Raybestos pro grade. You will probably spend twice as much, but you won't have to replace the parts every 6 months either.
