I have never done a burnout in the Blazer

I have enough trouble keeping it out of the shop for regular repairs. That's why the body is still rust free after just rolling to 177k even after 3 motors. I would like to keep this truck running as a daily driver until I can get an antique sticker on it. Not that I wouldn't prefer to still have my first gen blazer in the same condition. Yeah I take it off the pavement sometimes for ice fishing and deer hunting, but I bathe it twice a week in the winter. In my opinion my blazer is gold and I treat it as such by not doing stunts with it and as others have stated, I have kids and I'm in college. My responsibility is to take care of my baby and she takes care of me even if she's finicky sometimes.

i love doing burnouts, my 95 ram 2wd will do a 1 tire fire, my 85 chevy k20 with 9" lift, stock 350 pushin 38.5s will, yet my 99 zr2 pushin bald 32s wont?? i dont get it, hell in the rain i can drift all around town, yet, wont do a burn out on dry pavement....disapointed

I ain't never done a brakestand on pavement before but I've done what I like to call a turn and burn where you just turn as hard as you can and floor it. Its fun but its kinda pointless in a 6 cylinder powered suv. If I wanna do burnouts thats what I'm building the cutlass for. Too bad the weak 260 can't break the tires worth **** lol. That will change when I get my 350 rocket haha

Haha I've been able to chirp the tires on my Zr2 a couple times and wasn't even trying. Much more power then the 95 accord I had.
I have't tried to spin em' yet but could probably break em a little from dry smooth concret. I don't really want to make a habit of smoking my A/Ts though unless someone's doubting the power of the 4.3

I live in Michigan and my 4x4 is broken so I drift the crap out of it in the snow. (If I could I would live in Japan just for drifting) I don't always do it intentionally, but I have only lost control 2 times and one was the first time in the snow because I didn't know my brakes didn't do anything. I have slid the tires in the rain when I first got it because I was adjusting to it, but they still have a ton of grip. I take my driving very seriously though and I try to stay away from illegal stuff. I would rather just play it safe instead of getting a ticket and yes I am 16.
