Default Drop ?'s

I'm lowering my 2001 blazer 2 dr. 3/3 with a Ground Force kit. I have 20's on it that rub a little when you turn the wheel all the way. When I lower it is it going to rub more or less, and how can I correct it?

Don't turn all the way. Ha.

How wide are the 20's? What is your overall diameter? Bigger then stock?

If you rub now you will probably rub more when lowered.

The tire rubs the frame. I should have 6 inches from top of the tire to top of the wheel well in the rear and 5 in the front. What do you think? I'm not worried about bottoming out, it will not be low enough for that. I'm worried that it will rub even more on the frame and maybe the inner part of the fender.

Damn. I have 18 x 8's and I rubbed a little when I had my static drop. Mine was wheel well. I don't think I was hitting frame. Only solution was not to turn as hard.

I have 17X9 on a 5/5 drop and I don't rub...I still don't take any chances by turning hard either, I try to be careful with my daily driver. I am thinking Yes you will rub more with 20" and a slight drop.

i want to add something on a side note for concideration. when i lowered my blazer i started off with a 4-4 drop and it was lowering the rear. so i had to make it 5-4. it now has a little rake in the front by just a 1/2" or so. i think an even 3/3 drop might make it look lower in the rear. a couple other people with 2dr 2wd blazers have found this out also the hard way when lowering theirs.
