my idea is to put airbags on my '88 blazer... i would raise it in the winter and put big off-road tires on but during the summer lower it and maybe put some nice rims on... best of both worlds

thats a...different idea. but if you have a 4x4, then plan on doing a lot of fabricating because you have torsion bars up front, not coils. and if it is a 2wd, then you really cant go much higher than stock height anyways, because the upper arm will hit the frame and you won't have any suspension travel. and in the back, all you'll have to do is fabricate a cantilever setup that will keep the correct pinion angle throughout the whole travel. anything is possible with the right skills and the right amount of money, i guess.
