how much higher does..
Hey mud keep us up to date I am interested to see which way you decide to go with lifting you truck. I was thinking about a body lift but its to expensive to have to done and I am not quite sure I would have to tools to lift the body. So I am wondering if I should go with the 2 inch suspension lift. Its cheaper to have installed and I may be able to do it my self.
you will spend alot of money in ball joints, cv shafts.. etc... with a 2 inch lift..... thanks for the info jigg... i totally forgot to consider the tires on the ZR2.... just thinkin bout suspension.... so yea... 3 inches higher...lol
well after talkin with a guy down at the off raod shop he said for what i want to just get a leveling kit. he said for the price of a lift it would not be worth it in the long run. so i will most likly jus got with the leveling kit to get the look i want.
If you want the look of a ZR2, get a 2" BL, 2" shackles, and crank your t-bars 1". Throw some 31x10.50's on a set of 15x8 rims with 5" of backspacing, get some bushwacker flares and call it a day. You'll actually be a bit higher than a stock ZR2.
Yea that 2" BL will take you a good whole weekend to install by your self or have it installed for you for about $800. After you are all said and done you may wonder if it was better to just go with the 5" suspension.
a leveling kit jus raise the front end up to be level with the rear. and all it is replacing the torsion bar key with differnt ones and im ordering from the offroad shop but u can get then here

Well once you get them installed let me know how it goes, only thing I am worried about is having to re-align the wheels (probably have a shop do that since you have to be so accurate) and that I may break a cv joint or somthing going over a normal bump or somthin.
