Default leaf springs above the axle

can we move our axles under the leaf springs, looks like it would be fairly simple?
Has anybody done this? any reason why we shouldnt?

Sure you can, it is called the SOA (spring over axle) swap. However, this will raise the back end ~4" and the closest front end lift is the 5" or 6" suspension lifts which drops the front diff down lower using brackets.

so getting the front to match is the problem, with doing that?
it would be easy for to do just the back but expensive to get the front to match

Easy as cutting off the spring perches and rewelding new ones up top. Did it on mine using the stock springs

Yea basically. So whatever lift you get in the back just buy the one for the front the same height
