cannot wait, i have one more week befre i am home from iraq. now i have a project to look forward too. my son is just over one....i have to get his help handing me tools early. cannot wait to be back with my family. i have a 2002 blazer 4x4 4dr black with charcoal interior. Sounds good, should look sexy! Gonna get some "comments" on the 2" Suspension lift. I wouldn't have bought it though. What series are the tires?

i fgured i would do both the 2" body and 2" suspension....i really wanted the 33" tires....if i tweaked the suspension 2 inches and only did the 2"body i was affraid the 33"'s might rub on front...wanted to make sure clearance was definately not an issue....and i dont think i am really ready to jump to the 6" suspension lift because it requires welding and them id have to spend even more for some 35" tires....which then i would have to go to an after market wheel too.....at least i can stay with the factory rims since i bought the 33/12.5R15's

Xterrains are sweet. A buddy has some on his truck, nice aggressive look. They are on sale now buy 3 get 1 free. That usually happens every fall. The thing with the 2" susp lift, is that it can be done for cheaper. Crank the torsion bars and lift the back with shackles or something. You might have rubbing at full lock due to the width of the tires. I will be running 33,10.50's with a slight torsion bar crank and 1.5" spacers. Even then it's close to rubbing. All trucks are different though, just something to watch for.

if it rubs would spacer that bring the tires slightly wider help, or make it worse?

EDITED: to add question?

but by doing the 2" suspension lift which come with new torsion bars, cant i even tighting the torsion bars even more to squeeze off another 1-1.5 inches....to make like 3-3.5" lift.... the sails man for rough country said they say 2" but really can squeeze off more, they just say 2" cause they try to help you save on wear and tear by keeping it closer to the 2 "

or did he feed me bullshize

The spacers would act as if though the wheel had more backspacing, so it should help. Then you need to make sure that it clears the back of the front fender. Rcars on here has 33's on his truck with a similar setup. My truck is a first gen though and has bushwacker cutouts, so the fenders are "trimmed".

i guessi could use my neumatic grinding disc and cut away the inner of the front fenders and use old rubber mud flaps from semi-trucks to make a newer inner-fender with more room if needed
