Default Rear end suspension work

Hello again,
so i think its time to do some work on the rear suspension. i have several ideas for a slight lift and updated front end. As far as i know i can do all of these things in unison to get a decent amount of lift. My first idea is to add 2" longer shackles to the back, as far as i can tell this should cost less than 100 and take less than 2 hours install. My next idea is to add an add-a-leaf kit from jc Whitney (link below). It says i can get about a 1.5" lift and i think the combination of both these ideas will prevent the sag and hopefully bring the rear end up a good amount. Also i wanted to replace the rear shocks, im not sure what brand to buy for the shocks or the shackles so post up if you have any ideas. Also, anything else to replace on the rear end suspension while i replace everything.

P.S. its a 2001 ZR2

that will work for the rear but what do you plan on doing for the front since the back will now be 3.5in higher? I would recommend an add-a-leaf from suspension connection. I bought one for a 2in lift and it actually lifted it closer to 4in

for the front all you can do is crank the tbars. The problem is you can only crank them 1.5in with out the cvs binding. http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...con/85350.html

are there other options to cranking the tbars...ive read alot about that and it sounds like it causes nothing but trouble for the front end, i haven't heard of anything else to lift the front though...i might just end up doing that with the back and cranking the tbars as much as i safely can....any ideas??

is there such thing as a suspension lift kit for only the front end? that would work well if there is?

My suggestion would be to install either the AAL or the shackles, see how much lift you get. If it just gets rid of the saggy ***, then you could install the other and crank the tbars a bit to help even it out. If one actually gives you lift over the saggy *** then crank your tbars accordingly.

There is a 2" suspension lift from Super Lift, but it is more of a glorified tbar crank. The best part about this lift is it gives you new UCA's to help the ball joints but does nothing to help with the CV shaft angles.

Don't even bother with the aftermarket index keys that "allow more lift". Just bad news all around.

yeah thats really the only way to lift the front unless you get into the 5 and 6in kits. I personally would do the add-a-leaf first. I think its easier to do especially if the bolts for the shackles are seized in the sleeves.
