Default Shock interchange

Ok looking for some input.Ive got a 98 Jimmy that I'm putting torsion keys and shackles in, my question is this.I know I need to use longer shocks, are the ZR2 shocks longer than the standard Jimmy shocks? Or should I use 1/2ton pick up shocks, I've been told these will work well and will bolt right in? If anyone has done this please let me know how well it worked out for you.Thank you RESPECTFULLY Jeromy37

Because I have a funky ZW7 suspension with self-leveling rear-shocked matched with special leaf-springs, I opted for shock mount extenders so that I would not have to replace the springs and shocks when I did my mild suspension lift. I found the extenders on eBay but if you can weld, I bet you could make your own that are better.

Yeah I've seen those spacers online and have thought about going that route. That would solve the rear shock issue, but what about the front schocks

More generally, shops that sell off-road equipment will have a selection of shocks that are for lifted suspensions. Rough Country is one and so is Superlift. I used the later for my front shocks.

The zr2 shocks are longer and will fit, I am going that root myself. I installed the 2.5 lift by rc, and my front shocks haven't lasted a year. I'm looking into the price of zr2 shocks or similar.
