Default SpringTech??

Hey guys. The girlfriend is in need of new tires and wants the truck to look a little tougher on her '00 2DR 2WD, V6 5sp Jimmy. I was looking for a small lift, enough to clear 31" all terrains on 8" wheels without rubbing at all. Hard to find lifts, but SpringTech offers a 3" upper arm/coil kit. For $400 I'm interested but don't know anything about the quality of the kit. I'd rather not do body. Any other suggestions? If not, can an 8" wide wheel with a bit smaller all terrain fit stock?
