t-bar crank? again
Is it necessary to jack up the front end to release tension when cranking up the torsion bars? I'm looking to raise the front 3/4 to 1" to get rid of the "jacked up" rear end look. I dont have access to a floor jack right now (mines shot) and i was just wondering if its really necessary to take some of the tension off before cranking.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Is there a way to do a t-bar crank without buying those $100 torsion bar keys. They look like a socket thats it. Just wondering. if there is a way could you help me out.

Ok torsion cranking does not need a key... it is really really easy and shouldnt take you more than 15 minuets... Look along your frame near the front door and follow that long black pole as far as it goes back... when it stops you will see a bolt that is not tightened all the way... clockwise tightens it to raise the front end... be sure to crank the bolts on each side equally... all you need is an 18 mm socket
