Default TB cranked too much causing new tires to rub

got a new set of bfg at 31x1050x15 put on today. tires look great i am very pleased. i noticed tough that the passanger side rubbed on the frame at full lock right turn. the driver side was fine, not much clearance but no rub. I started investigating and found that the passanger side sat 1/8" higher that the other. upon further looking i noticed as the suspension extends the wheels move closer in toward the frame. by having the right side higher was causing that tire to sit closer to the frame than the left. backed off the TB 1 turn and problem sloved. I was always under the impression that higher would be better but not in this case. hope this helps some else who might be cranking away trying to stop the rub.

1/8" made that much difference? One turn is about a 1/4" no?

I just did mine and I measure very carefully and I got for ever 2 turns 1 inch of lift which is 1/2 inch per complete turn from the mark then come back around to the mark. I did five turns and I got a total of 2.5" of lift.

one turn lowered it about 1/4 inch. i did that so i would have a little extra room for clearance. I think that torsion bar is a little weak because the bolt is in much farther than the driver side and it sits just a hair lower. that is why 1 turn is about 1/4 inch
