thanks do you kbow what the max width is?? i plan on putting them on just some cleaned up junkyard steels

You should be able to fit 31x10.5x15" tires on factory 4x4 rims without rubing the body, but you may rub the frame. If you go with lower backspaced rims you won't rub the frame but you might rub the back of the front fender. If you do you can either trim that area slightly, or go with a body lift to get more tire clearance.
The funny thing with the Blazers is there's lots of variance between individual trucks. I'd say you should be reasonably safe to go with 31x10.5's, and just know that it might take a bit more work to ensure that you don't rub. You really won't know for sure until you install them and test drive. You could always pick up a cheap set of tires and rims off Craigslist just for test-fitting before spending a big chunk of money on new rubber.
