Default Bocks, shackles, or add a leafs ?

I just purchased a 1998 4 door 4x4. I would like to set it up for hunting and camping with my kids. Which kit on e bay is best to clear 31's ? I can keep factory wheels or would like the black steel wheel look.

Thanks, Gator

you can do shackles and crank the torsion bars 1.5" over stock and still be safe. that is the cheapest and most common approach. you could also do a body lift..another option around the same cost but more involved.
as far as shackles most are pretty similar.

I plan to pull a small trailer. The prices for all three are comparable. The add a leaf seems to be my best option.

Yea just crank torsion bars or you could get 2in torsion keys and add a leaf for around $200

With an s10 blocks lower it. You can crank the torsion keys for free. Get lift shackles and add a leaf and with some minor trimming you'll clear 31s. You'll get ground clearance and wheel well clearance. Where as with a body lift you won't gain ground clearance but merely just wheel well clearance to clear the 31s. I've owned three blazers two with 31s. If you crank the torsion bars you will increase wear in both CV axles and ball joints. Its a give and take thing. Your choice.

Aftermarket leafs that provide lift you need/want -- maybe some skyjackers.

I am looking to do an add-a-leaf then crank torsion if possible. So all I need for this is the add-a-leaf like this one?Pro Comp Helper Spring - JCWhitney
Does $40 sound accurate for an add-a-leaf?

Also, would it be installed as the bottom leaf? I can't seem to find this anywhere.
