Default 16 inch rims & tires

Query: Wanting to run 16x7" rims on my 94 blazer s10 4x4, 225/75r16 is the tire I want to run til death do us part. It's a 10 ply rated tire, 29 1/4" dia - 8.85" width(live in montana 4&6 ply tires are destroyed here). The stock is 235/75r15 on 15x7(6in bs). Is there a veh that came stock with 16x7(5or6bs) rims, I could get on the cheap to run them? Stock dia 28.85" vs 29.25"

You could use some 90's 16" camaro rims but i would make sure they fit okay with the different backspacing before you buy some. I think there are a few guys on the forum that have used 16" camaro rims that could help you out.

Not 100% on the width. But the 92 and older trans am/camaro/firebird/corvette wheels will work. Most of the older ones are 16x7, just make sure your backspacing is 4 inches. On the 93 and up they ran I think a 5.50 inch or close to 6 inch backspacing. Which works great for 4x4, like me, but would rub bad up front and possibly rub frame or leaf springs or perches in the rear of a 2wd. You could even run rims for certain monte carlo's and some other GM vehicles IIRC, but the 92 and earlier is a sure bet.
