Thanks so much guys. One last thing though. Do I need to do anything to compensate for the big tires so it doesn't feel like I'm driving a school bus. Someone told me I need to change to some stuff so I can still get the performance out of it.

i've heard of changing from rubber bushings to polyurethane in the front. as far as the sway bar goes.
big tires usually don't equal good ride. not always but you start putting a spring lift on (stiff) and big meats your ride quality is gonna go down

Going that large on the tires, acceleration is going to be a problem. That is why I would go up to the larger axles when you decide to go that large in tires. You are going to spend a good chunk of change on just changing the gear ratios in your axles you might as well find a D60/14BFF combo with 4.10's or 4.56's and install those.

Craigslist, eBay, local farmer's hedgerow? There are lots of different sources. It all depends on how much you want to pay. I have seen NOS D60/14BFF 1-ton combo's still being pulled out of military base storage selling for $2500 for the pair which is a steal considering that these are brand new assemblies that have never been used.
