Default 1st gen blazer wheels on 95 question.

I am thinking about buying a set of Keystone wheels that are replicas of the 1st gen 4wd blazer wheels. The guy that has them said he ordered them with a 1 inch wider stance than the factory wheels. They are not on the blazer anymore but he said they stick out past the fenders on his 91 like 1 inch. Here is my question will they fit on a 95 4wd using a 31x11.50-15 inch tire? I dont want any rubbing issue at full lock. My blazer has 2 inch body lift and 2 inch torsion bar keys and 2 inch lift shackls in the rear. I dont care to use a small spacer if i have to. Or would i be better of using my stock wheels with a small spacer?

If the rims in question already have 1" less back spacing, adding spacers will just make it worse.

With stock rims, 31" tires can be somewhat problematic with 2"BL & 2"SL. Add 11.5" width to that and you are sure to have trouble at the front and rear of the wheel well on the front of the truck.

ok my tires are 31x10.50-15s my bad. The wheels in question are 8 inches wide and have a 27mm offset. Anyone know if they will work or will they be bad news.

ok after actually doing my research i found out that 27mm is 5.57 backspace. And since 6 inch is optimal on my 4wd these wheels should fit nicely. I do understand i might have to trim the fender well and i am fine with that, but thanks for the help

ummm..........no offence, but where did you go to school for math?

'cause 27mm is 1.06299", or 1 1/16". 5.57" is more like 141.5mm.

Lol i thought the same thing, i know how to convert MM to Inches but apparently when you convert it to backspace and offset its different.

Here is the link to what i used to find out. It all depends on the width and offset of the wheel to get the proper backspace. My local rim shop told me to use it to see if the wheels would fit.

Yeah, it comes down to the difference between backspacing and offset. Offset is calculated from the center of the rim to the WMS (wheel mounting surface). Back spacing is from the back side of the rim to the WMS. So on a 7" wide rim, a +27mm offset would equal a 4.56" back spacing.
