lol @ reviving an old thread.

some financial issues came up and i wasn't able to do anything to my truck.

anyway, i've been saving a lil here and there and i'm about to buy a set of rims and tires for my blazer.

i'm looking at these Pro Comp 15x8 Alloys (they are 5x4.75, the image is of a 6 lug though)

on some 29x10.50 TSL/SX Super Swampers.

don't really wanna lift it up high (i'm a DJ and need to fit in parking structures regularly as well as access the rear of my blazer easily) but i do wanna be able to play in the sand and mud with my homies. i am gonna crank the TB up about 1.5". i just wanted to know if that is gonna be enough to run this or if i even have to crank em at all.

i love this forum and i appreciate all the help i've gotten so far and thanks in advance for any help i may get on this post.

Depends if you have less thatn the stock 6" of backspacing, you may need to crank a little to avoid the rub that can result from having the wheels sticking past the fenders further.

What's the back spacing on those wheels? I'd go with 30's just because you're already buying new tires, might as well get something a little bigger that'll fit (depending on back spacing, with a small t-bar crank).

thanks for replying guys.

the back spacing is 3.75"

and you think i could fit 30x10.5?? if so, i'll do that, it would make more sense.

thanks

oh btw, those wheels are on 4wheelparts.com

You will have no issues what so ever with a 9.5 tire. You will probably have some rubbing issues with a 10.5 though, so you might be looking at some trimming and/or spacers.

Any certain reason why you are looking at such a small backspacing?

no reason, thats the only one they have with that wheel.

with spacers, the wheel sticks out more right??

Yeah spacer will put the wheel out more. I would get a wheel with backspacing a little closer to stock due to the extra wear the smaller backspacing will cause.
