Hey all, it's been a while... I need a little help in understanding whats up. I bought some soft 8's back in January (15x7 4 in backspacing with 0mm offset). Anywho I can't get them to fit without the little cheapo 7/16 spacers from pep-boys. They just lock onto the caliper and won't budge an inch with all the lugs on. What I need to know is what offset on a 15x7 inch wheel will clear the caliper. Do I need the plus 6 mm offset, or should I go with an 8 in wide rim with -12mm offset, or do I just need to avoid the steel wheels all together and go with alloys? Sorry, and Thanks in advance

I'm assuming your blazer is 4 wheel drive if thats the case I think you will need spacers because from what I know generally
fwd you want positive offset
rwd you want 0 offset
and 4x4 you want negative off set
fwd you want positive offset
rwd you want 0 offset
and 4x4 you want negative off set

Yes it is a 4x4. So negative offset? I have spacers on them now and I can't stand the shake at highway speeds. And I know it's the spacers because I have had my tires balanced on their highg dollar machine and none of my front suspension is loose or wore out. I just need to find some wheels that will bolt up sans spacers. Thanks for the info.

No problem, I've never used spacers so I can't help you much there.

I run spacers and the trick is when mounting the rims on the spacer you need to hold it up and not let the lug nuts pull the wheel into place. Mine has virtually no vibrations even with the crazy mods and the beating it often gets.

Well it's worth a try, I normally just throw it on there and tighten the lugs to hold it in place. Thanks man I'll try it till I can get new wheels. Oh and have you or anyone you know had problems with the wheel studs not being long enough? My problem is with the spacers on, I can only get a little over half the thread of the nut on before it stops. To me it just don't seem safe.
