Default Bart purple stripe wheels

Hey guys, Well i think this is my first post!
My blazer is stock... but that is why im here...
I'm looking at some aftermarket rims to get a larger wheelbase and better look, i'd like 'em to stick out more. I have an 01 2wd 2door blazer ls, and the stock backspacing is 5.75 with 7" wide rims. I have been looking at some 15 x 8 inch rims with 3 inches backspacing. these should make me 3.75" wider on each side, with a 7.5" increase in wheelbase width correct?

Also, will these rims be strong enough? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cl...34-3/overview/

I know theyre not too much cheeper than some soft 8's, but 10 bucks is 40 bucks total... And to me that's a lot.

Thanks!

On a side note, I will be building a roof rack/lightbar soon, and will do a build thread on that.

Not a fan of them
They look really cheap IMO
Neighbor had a set of them for his snows and they rust pretty quick

A common swap is Camaro/Iroc 15" rims for the wider stance

okay... but since i'm trying to go cheap those camero rims are out, plus I dig the black and simplicity of the bart wheels. what about these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pcw-52-5861/overview/

I often see the Camaro / iroc rims for sale for $100/ set including center caps
They need to be cleaned up and painted
Just saying

most of the cheap rims are just that IMO

What's the backspacing on the Camaro iroc rims? Or does it vary?

Yea that's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm in arizona so it's pretty far away. Plus I'm not sure how well 31'S would fit with no lift of any kind currently installed.
