Default BFG A/T vs Nitto T/G

Ive been running the BFGs on my blazer for the last couple years with no problems at all...they are a great tire. But with me getting ready to do the lift im looking for some differences and experiences with each of these tires. Im looking at a size of 285/75R16. Any and all input on these tires would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks

My brother has the Nitto Terra Grapplers on his Colorado and they wear out fast. After the first year, his tires looked like they were 3yrs old. I would stick with the bfg's.

Nitto has a new tire coming out soon, the TRAIL GRAPPLER. Looks better than the terra grappler

Have you checked out Goodyear Wrangler Duratraks? I will be putting some on early next week and have heard great reviews, might want to look into them.

I've always wondered why one is always looking for a different tire than what they've already had good luck with? I'm as guilty as everyone else in this endeavor, trying to find the "perfect" tire.

I'd say if your liked the BFG's, just get them again. If they were lacking then try to find something different.

Of course, I usually don't follow my own advice when it comes to tires...lol

I have both Pro Comp tires, all terrain and mud terrain and I have zero issues with them.

+1 for BFG T/A. Had 'em for years. Great treadlife, great offroad performance, still streetable @ highway speeds. I like the fact that they took "airing down" into consideration when they designed the tread blocks.
