...but you need to be careful with em, their contact patch well lack there of is kinda tricky on the road, jsut got to drive it as the weather calls for now...

I paied 530 out the door for 4 BFG mud terrains mounted road force balanced and siped. Though I think the AT's are a little more expensive but the price sounds about right. You should get a ton of milage out of them too.
did you just sipe the center tread blocks?

What would you consider a lot of tread on the road?

Any more tread and it would be a passenger tire.

ALL-Terrain not Mud Terrain. Id expect an ALL -TERRAIN to be somewhat of a "passenger" tire. Being its used on AND off road. The grabbers are just as aggressive as the A/T but with alot more rubber touching the ground.

Here is a comparison, I know there is no CONSUMER review but the tech comparison is there.

I was told they were on backorder for atleast 2.5 months a few weeks ago, worldwide.

All-Terrains are the best for you, unless you are always in the dirt, get the A/T's or check coopers AT tires, they are very nice.

My neighbor had the cooper S/T-c's on his 1500 series silverado, he loved em in the mud. Prolly why he moved to Tn on all those acres of venison and mud.
