lowering blazer on 20's?
I have a 97 blazer 2wd 4 door and im gonna put 20's on it soon with 245/40 tires. Can i lower it 1" in the front and 2" in the back without having to modify the wheel wells or the fender up front? Can I even fit the wheels without modification? Thanks in advance for any replies.

i wanna say 8 or 9 in there, not sure, i'll find out for sure tho for you, if you go to a used tire place an find some reasonably priced 275s that have half the tread on them, i'll trade you my 245 that have atleast 75%..these roads suck in SC man..i just havent any luck. but im sure you got the money for brand new rubber anyways so that wouldnt work out, haha..sorry rambling, but i'll get the whole specs for you in the morning.

u can fit up to 255s on the truck from the way it sounds and have clearance for all turning but i also heard that 8 1/2 in. wide rims are the widest u can go not totally sure on that though. im gunna go with 20x8.5 rims and 255/45r20 tires should fill the wheelwell nicely itll be like littledan911's truck i like that look cuz up in minnesota we have pretty nice size winters and i need to use my stock tires in the winter so i dont want to lower it
