Lug nuts for cragar soft 8s
#11
im looking into getting some monte carlo rims for my 4wd blazer, I know they will stick out a little further, and that doesnt bother me, but will it have adverse problems on the car? Also someone mentioned I might need different lugnuts that will move the rim to the center when tigtening, anyone have a clue what thats about and where I could find some?

Ok i got the wheels but they rub the brake caliper just a lil bit

you know another member on here had that problem but you and him are the only ones who I've ever heard this happening to. are you sure your not putting them on backwards?

Backspacing shouldn't affect the caliper clearance though. My 4" backspaced wheels (not cragars) don't hit anything.

I only tried one rim. Gonna try another tomorrow..and the brakes havent been changed in a while( still look good) but i would think there seated right..have atleast 20 k on them
it may have been the caliper bracket it was rubbing
Edit* I tried another same issue..They are sending me new ones cause these are all nicked up. They said if i have the same issue I could use a Spacer..Is that a good idea or should I grind the caliper the little bit that I need?

well yes and no... those yes. any spacers that don't extend your studs are dangerous because you won't tighten the lugs to factory spec. and your wheels could fall off or you could break off a stud
