Default Monte Carlo SS wheels on GMC Jimmy

Hey guys, a guy on craigslist has some alloy 88 Monte Carlo SS rims and I need some opinions on if any of you think they might look sweet on a 4 door GMC. I've always liked these wheels, but I'm iffy on how they might look on a T15.

At this point, I know they fit, and the stock alloys on my Jimmy need some TLC and I was thinking for my summer wheels go with the SS rims and for studs, use the stock alloys.

Any thoughts?

Post a side shot of your jimmy and a shot of Monte Carlo SS rim in the Chop Shop board and ask for someone to photoshop the wheels on your rig.

here's kind of what my Jimmy looks like from the side and here's a wheel from google. If anyone can photoshop this, I'd sure appreciate it!

hey benedict, did you happen to notice if they stuck out a little? the backspacing on them is different I hear, from what I'm told, Jimmies have 6" backspacing and these are 3.75"

Yeah 4x4 is 6" backspacing... those will stick out 2.5" further if they're 7" wide rims, and 3.5" if they're 8" wide rims...

Do you think if I body lifted the truck like 2 inches, it would clear the fender flares fine and the stance wouldn't be too noticeable?

For 75 bucks, you really can't go wrong. I like the black painted ones best, personally. There are a few guys here running Z28 or IROC wheels. Do a search and look how far theirs stick out. I like the look, myself.
