Default My pockets are burning! Help!

I got some money burning a hole in my pocket. I decided to use my graduation money to go ahead and slap on some new skins. I want an economical, agressive looking, all-terrain tire that is good on-road and still capable off-road and in bad weather. I found two tires I like: BFG Rugged Terrains, and Firestone Destination A/T. Now the BFGs I really like. They seem perfect for my needs and look great. But I found a set of Firestones on Craigslist for $300- which the owner claims have 95% tread on them! The BFGs would cost me $650-$700 mounted/balanced. The firestones- maybe under $400 M/B. Just wonering if anyone had any opinions or experience with either tire. before I was leaning towards the BFGs, but it seems like a good deal for the firestones.

Those are awesome! Im looking for a tire that will give me decent fuel economy going back and fourth to school next year. Also looking to try to keep it under 150 a tire.

Spend the extra buck and get the new set. At least it would have some kind of warranty or tire care package.
Maybe look up an online tire dealer and print a quote including freight and see if your local tire place would match or beat the price.

If you have a Big O Tires around, this is what I got :

BIG O BIG FOOT A/T ALL TERRAIN 245/75R16 | Big O Tires carries the BIG FOOT A/T ALL TERRAIN by BIG O in 245/75R16

I couldn't be happier with them.

*Note : That price is for oversized tires that I bought for my lifted blazer. Stock size may be cheaper.

Goodyear Wrangler Radials. Look good and cheap. Can be had for $80-90 per tire new. Town fair tire has'm. They're also not so meaty that your fuel economy goes down the sh!tter.

I just got a new set of 31" Toyo Open Country MTs from discount tire here in Utah. 1000 bucks with the best warranty ever.
