I currently have Wrangler RT/S' and they SUCK- although they are pretty worn out. I was looking at those radials for a while. How are those treating you in mud and bad weather? If you tell me you absolutely love them, they're so cheap I may have to go out and buy some!

Good question- Sears, Walmart (Not that I would go there), Pepboys, Autozone, NTB, HubCapJacks, Just Tires, and one or two small privately owned tire shops.

Any dealerships? The reason why I gave my 1st suggestion "print a quote" is that sometimes some Ford dealerships-@ the parts counter- ( I'll prolly catch grief for this bcuz I suggested Ford huh?) participate in a tire program called "around the wheel". That tire program allows Ford to either match or beat competitor prices just to gain your business. IDK if GM or Dodge have a similar tire program- I haven't tried them. It be worth looking into to save a few benji's.

Well I've been running them for about 5 years now. Just had a new set put on this spring. I love these tires. Haven't let me down yet. Great in the snow, great offroad too. If you can get your blazer into the trail, these will get you out. Do know that these aren't serious offroad tires but they've served me well. I get through 1.5-2ft puddles/streams with these and they haven't stranded me. I can honestly say that I don't see any reason not to get these tires unless you're looking for some serious mudding tires. But for the occasional/weekend adventurer, they're perfect. And they're so cheap that even if you don't get a good warranty, you can just get another one without hurting your wallet too bad.

I was with a couple jeeps for this little mudhole. they had troubles with it

Wow! With my rt/s I have made it through some pretty deep stuff. I was able to keep up with an FJ Cruiser (with stock highway tires). Although I have seen this FJ do stuff I preobably couldnt do because of clearance issues, my wrangler rt/s' ARE somewhat capable offroad, so maybe I will reconsider the radials. I have been looking at tires for so long I hope I just get a blowout so I am forced to make up my mind already- always have taken my time making decisions.

Thought I'd let everyone know that I just made an appointement with sears for tomorow to install a set of the BFG Rugged Terrains- They just looked way cooler than any other tire in the price range, and I've had my eye on them for a while. I think once I plastidip my wheels they'll really look great. I'm gonna have to start a build thread soon!

I had a bad experience with Sears once. They installed a set of BFG ATs for me and didn't re-torque my lug nuts. They came loose going down the freeway, ob-longed the stud holes on a rim, and broke a few studs. They weren't so quick to reimburse the fix it and tow bill. It was a hard lesson learned for everybody.

Sears told me they couldnt do an alignment because my pitman arm and idler arms both had play, so the procedure would be pointless. I jacked up my truck and coudn't see any problems at all. I shook my wheels, pulled on my center link, and even tried channel locks and a crowbar to try to move the joints. I couldn't find any movement at all, except a little with the crowbar-but a crowbar will move anything! I asked the guy at pepboys, and he said it was a common problem with GMs- but I think I'm gonna let them check it out. Maybe it was just something that was so minute that they could only see it on the alignment rack?
