Ok so here's the deal, im going to need some new tires soon, i got a 97' 4dr 4x4 blazer, everythings stock, and im not really wanting to put that much money into lifting it especially for my first car

im wanting to get some all terain tires and what not, does anybody have some suggestions on what to get?

 

or i mean what is the biggest size tire i can get 30 x 9.5 or 31 x 9.5 its not lifted or anything i just want bigger tires to make it look good

 

with it being a GEN2 you should be able to fit 30x9.5 with no difficulty....

that being said, if you get tinto some serious flex you WILL Crunch a fender...

to fix this you might want to use a little T-bar torque with an add-a leaf for a "comfortable" 30 fit

 

i put 31 on mine with no lift, but then again, mine sat higher than other blazer/jimmys stock. i went from a 235/70 to 31x10.5 with no big deal. but, word of advice, don't get 31s until you get some lift. i had a friend with a blazer that i let swap wheels to see if wanted to get 31 too, he was rubbing like crazy and messed his fenders up.

 

ok, ill look more into it, i found some bfg's all terain 30 x 9.5's they were like 128 a piece? is that a decent price??


oh and, just my luck i hit a mailbow a lil earlier hah, does anybody know where i could possibly get a new/used chrome grill for a cheap price?

 

thats an ok price, i am getting 265/75r16 for $113.

how bad is it?

 

its not horrible, you would really have to look for it to notice, and its just like a pretty bad crack and a few like 1' scratches on the hood above the left headlight

 

thats not too bad, i am pretty sure u can buff most of that out.

Go with the 30" BFG All-Terrains.

I am a huge fan of them and wont buy anything else.
Youtube Hanr3 and you'll find a video of them in action in 8+ inches of snow in a field. There is also one thread where I posted a few pics of how well they work in chewing up soft ice.
