Default Need some tire input

gonna have to buy some new tires soon. The front end of my truck is all messed up and I can figure out why. The inside of my tires keep wearing out even with a front end alignment.

Anywho, I am tired of my BFG A/T's. Tire is way soft and I am not a fan of them anymore. Need a good A/T tire. I am looking at either Nittos or a set up Super Swampers. Does anyone have input on tires or point me towards some other brands?

i personally am a big fan of the good year silent armors thats what i run on mine, that or if you want something with i bit more bite you could go with good year duratracks my friend has a set of those and he loves them.

My 97' Jimmy that I had before my 02' Blazer used to burn through tires on the inside. At least it did until I dropped a pile of money and did all 4 ball joints and an idler arm. Tossed a set of Dunlop Radial Rover A/T's on her and she kept up with a 95 Sierra on 31" Goodyear Duratracks in the mud and snow.

I personally won't run the duratracks on any of my trucks after having two of them have sidewall blow out on the Sierra on a single 3 hour drive @ 120km/hour. Who knows, maybe we just got unlucky with them.

Nitto's are a great tire. Have a buddy who works in a tire shop that sells them and he said they are recommended as a much better tire than Goodyear or BFG. Actually used to sell rim/Nitto tire packages to local Dodge dealer for some of their "pre-lifted" trucks. That and most the off-road commercial guys took the Nitto as well, even those who previously had the BFG.

Thanks for the input guys....will def look into some of those tires.

Quick question, with my lift, will too much of a t-bar crank cause inner tire wear? Im thinking with them cranked up the way they are they are getting too much camber and wearing out quicker. I already replaced the balljoints when I did the lift so they arent bad.
