Default Need spacer help ASAP!

Ive used the search but I didnt directly find a response. I really need an answer by tomarrow! Ive got some old vette wheels with 255/50/16's on them. Ive heard that2.5" is recommended, but can Iuse a 2" spacer on a 2wd and get away with it? Im getting a good deal and the price difference is pretty big. Thanks in advance!!!

As far as the 2wd goes there is a plethora of info when using vette wheels. I should know for I am trying to do the same thing but with 4wd. 2-2.5 sounds about right considering 2wd sits in 2 inches further than 4wd. The 2.5' adapters would be better on rims with about 56mm offset. Just make sure you are using the fronts which are narrower and more applicable. The rears can get pretty wide and could be harder to fit if they will at all.

The main thing I found to consider is the actual offset of the rims you plan on using since there are several models of the vette wheels that are different. Don't know which ones you are looking at, but you could find out by matching them up with some replicas or the real deals. I believe the only difference between the two is weight. I found plenty info on other S10 forums as well as companies selling vette replacement rims. Good luck.

Sorry I took so long to respond, I was away from the computer. I ended up ordering the 2" the next day and yeah they work perfectly. Theyre fairly ugly wheels but I was able to polish them pretty well and even though theyre just 255's all around, those tires look meaty. I'll post pics as soon as Im able to.

Ash- Thanks for the info man
bad350- Awesome price but either way I needed 4

Now I need a freakin alignment!
