hey everyone, just have some beginner questions. im buying an 88 K5 this weekend and was wondering what all you guys choose for rubber

I've got Cooper Discoverer STT's they are a pretty good all around tire with a mean lookin tread. Oh and welcome to the forum from TN

yea those are nice but what about size, i want to go a little bigger untill i get a lift (rough country 6in) or should i keep the stockers untill then?

no use spending the money on meats now before getting a noticable huge lift.... then you're either unhappy with disproportioned tires for a few years until they wear out, OR you dump more $$$ on the "right" size

if you HAVE to get bigger tires now because you might die without them, get some used jobs off craigslist from a guy that couldn't wait, then didnt like the look post lift. they are cheaper that way

Kumho Road Venture MT KL71. looks mean, and performs well on & off road (even has a VG rating for snow).

just my nickel of input.
