Default New Rims = Cheaper/Easier to Find Tires

I was considering looking into new wheels for my 99 2wd 4door blazer when the thought occurred to me...

Are there wheels available that are a different size, that fit an easier to find and/or cheaper tire?

The reason this thought occured is because i always have to order the tires for my truck, no matter where I go! I'm hoping that there's a wheel out there with the proper bolt pattern that will allow me to put a new tire size on. Any reccomendations and links are welcome!

What size tires do you have now? If you have factory 15's you shouldn't have any issue finding tires at every tire shop in the country!
