New Tires for the Blazer
I can't believe I have wore out a set of tires already. But yesterday I had a set of new Dayton 6 ply A/T tires installed. They are much like the Delta's I wore out. I got 32,000 miles out of the Delta's, & could of got another 8,000 miles out of them. I beat the crap out of them on rough dirt & rock roads & trails off-road. Never had a flat or any trouble with them. I hope these new Dayton tires will give me as good of service. These tires are $80/tire plus mounting etc.
I guess Dayton use to make a mud tire but stopped because Bridgestone/Firestone owns Dayton & the Dayton mudders were as good as the Firestone Destination mudder at about $40/tire less. The owner of the shop I bought these from has a mining claim in a real remote part of Nevada & he runs the Dayton Mudder & said he is going to Primewell.
