Default Ok to change two tires?

Hi,
This is my first post here.
I have tried to use the search function to get an answer to my question, but i failed. Maybe i did lousy serches ; )

I have a Blazer LT 1997 4wd that i have blown a front tire on. The tire is beyond repair.

The question is if it's ok to buy two new tires that has the same size as the old ones and keep two half worn tires?

i mean if it's bad for the transmission to have different worn tires on the axels?

If so, is it only bad when i have 4wd in? And ok to drive with in 2wd?

Or is it no problem at all with this type of 4wd?

Thanks a lot from Sweden.

if you get the same tires as you had, you should be ok, but make sure you get the same tires because if you get a different brand in the same size there may be size differences even if they say they are the same size, each company varies on size a little.

Also, put the new tires in the rear.
