Exclamation Opposite problem with tire size

I have a 1976 Blazer with 33/12.5R15 tires on right now. The rim size is 15 x 10. Can I install 10.5" wide tires on the rims. I spoke to a tire tech and he informed me I could. Everyone seems to have the opposite problem.

You should not have a problem putting 10.5" tires on a 10" rim. I plan on picking up a set of 33x10.5 BFG A/T TKO tires for my '74 K5 when I get some more $$$. I'm just going to put them on the 15x10 rims I have now.
