Default Polished my rim. What do you think?

So after I discovered my other set of steel rims were bent I pulled some out old 4x4 5 spoke rims and got to work. Slowly I got it to this point but I think I have 5 hours on stripping the rims then sanding and painting and polishing the single rim. I only did one to get it all figure out and so I could see the finished product sooner.

Pics!
Before sanding, note the ridges from the factory machining.

After sanding and some bad paint

And some polishing

Thanks, they should look good on my 4x4 DD. And I will be the only one in town with some shiny 5 spoke stock 4x4 rims.

I will was thinking about doing that actually, for when I start on the other rims. Thets best thing I did was start with ~250 grit and took all the ridges off the aluminum with a orbiting sander, like this one on amazon

. I think the time would have doubled if it was not for that to take down the ridges.
