quick offset question
So before I pull the trigger on these wheels. I have everything here for my truck but the wheels. 2 inch shackles slight tbar crank 2inch BL. I have a set of 31x10.50 a/t tires.
I want the wheels to be offset more then stock but nothing to wild. My plan is to run a 15x7 wheel with 3.75 inch backspacing. So if im correct that would put the offset at -6. Which would stick the tires out around almost 3 inches further than stock 4wd wheels. Is that correct?
Thanks for the help in advance.

I will def post some pics up. Ill be taking pics of the progress of the truck and make a build thread shortly. Gonna wait for everything to arrive first. I ordered the body lift and wheels the other day. I already have the tires and shackles here. Today I doing lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends. After the lift goes on I have some plate metal and will start work on the off road front bumper as well as truck bed lining the out side and underneath of the truck.
