Eventually I thought about running bigger tires, could I run something like a 275 tire on a 17x8 rim? Guy at my local tire shop said no but I was watching trucks the other day and they mounted a 285 on a 16x8. So I would assume if they could do that then I could run something like a 275 right?

I've seen a couple 4x4 running that thick of a tire and a couple older 2wd cars. But can I even run something that big on a 2wd Blazer?
