Default spare not matching

ok,
real simple question for you guys.

i was thinking about it and my spare is a 31 and i now run 33's...problem is if i had to run the spare and as long as i am not in 4x4 will i screw up anything.
i know that running dif tires sizes in 4x4 will screw up everything.

if need be i can get the 33 spare...just was being cheap at the time and it has been on my mind as i go thru my pre winter checklists.

thanks guys.

Just make sure that as you said you're not using 4x4 and make sure to put the spare on the front, no matter what. If you have a flat in the rear, take a tire from the front, put it on the rear and put the spare on the front until you can get to a shop to get the flat repaired.

Also, I, sometime or another on here, asked that exact same question and was told the above answer.

That would work as long as you're not in 4WD, however you'll want to take turns VERY cautiously (obviously the vehicle will be more prone to rollovers while sitting like this) and be aware that the truck will also pull pretty hard on the road. I wouldn't do it for anything more than getting to a shop to have it repaired if you can help it.

You may be safer finding a cheap 33 on craigslist for a spare, 2" is quite a bit of a difference, imagine removing your body lift on one side and driving like that lol That's kinda the same difference.

And here I was thinking this thread was about a spare rim not matching those on the road.

I guess we all know what ASSUME means...lol

ok, so i got really lucky and found a 33 on craigslist.
actually really good shape and newer.
cost me 40 for the tire and 15 to swap and balance it.

now it wont fit on carrier!!! i didnt think of the width diff.
anyone have any ideas on this one??

i was thinking of trying to maybe jb weld a double female connector onto the carrier the use bolts threaded into that to keep tire on there.

any ideas or exp would be appreciated.

thanks guys.

Could try to find a longer stud on there and just use some spacers?
