So I have a set of Eagle alloy 211s on my blazer and I'm wanting to get some opinions on painting them gloss black. One of them seems to be ruined to me. I made a bad decision and used Hot Rimz on it and now the wheel is corroded in many areas. I'm asking because I get a raise in two weeks for two years in the Navy and I don't want to spend the money on it if anyone has seen it and it looked God awful.

Try posting a pic and having someone photoshop them black just to give you and idea. I don't know what they even look like but I'm going to figure that out right now I'll be right back!!
Ok I'm back!! I think they would look good black. 97cherry had similar wheels on his truck and there is a guy right up the street that has the same or very similar and everytime I see them I think to my self "man I bet those would look great in black" That could be because they remind me of the old Cragar mags and I had those on my Cutlass in chrome but I don't think any truck or suv should have chrome on it anymore so I think black would be awesome!!

I would post a pic but I don't have any good pics at the moment. I honestly like the black because it has straight street tires on it that are the stock size. Someday when cash starts flowing I want 33s though, no bigger no smaller. I will be sure to post a pic when I get the chance.

Not the best pic, but it's all I have at the moment. I really don't want to paint them but the corrosion on the front drivers side is deep enough that I don't think I could make an attempt in repairing it without doing more damage.
