Looking to get some rubber for my 2001 Jimmy 4dr 4x4, I still have the stock wheels...

Whats the biggest tire i can run with no body lift...

What should i get???

ive been recommended...

235/75/15 Hercules Terra Trac A/T at $124.00 CDN,a tire balanced/installed

(can i not go any bigger or is 75 that largest i can go?? because thats what i have now)

Ive read some reviews on the tire all seem to be good....any thoughts???

30" tire is the biggest you can fit w/o a lift. As for brand I've heard nothing but good things about the BFG A/T. I've personally never used them, but everyone suggest them for the perfect daily drive/off road tire.

im running 30x9.5 toyo open country ats and they are great in everything we had three inches of snow on the road today and they were great. been off raod and no problems. doesnt mess with my gas milage that i notice. all around a good tire and they are not that expensive.

i have 31 inch bfg at's and im not sure if i will get them again when i get tires in the spring. They work great for on road, snow, and some off-road. It depends on what kinda off-roading you do. The last time i went out it was really soupy mud due to alot of rain and the were not very good. The tread just filled with mud and became big doughnuts which were horrible. But mine are starting to were out. i only have around 6/32 left. So if you just plan on going on easy trails through the woods or what ever they would be perfect. I just wouldnt recommend them for anything major once they wear down.
