Default Tire size 72 K5

I was gifted a '72 K5 Blazer which belonged to a long time hunting friend who passed away. I have put a 2 1/2 inch suspension kit on it and have been told by a tire dealership not to go over 33 inch tires or will have to cut fenders. Any thoughts? I have old 10 x 16.5 steel rims and have been told tires are no longer available in half sizes. Also would like to remount the seats to gain a little more leg room if possible. Any suggestions or is there mounting hardware available? I have not seen anything. Thanks Gusboy.

for the 80s style blazers you could get away with 33s on a 2 inch body lift. i had a truck like that it would occasionally rub if i was taking a tight turn and hit a hard bump not quite sure if the older ones were the same way.
