Treadwright Tires
I know there will be haters but I bit the bullet and ordered a set. Did a lot of research and found nothing but good reviews, plus they only cost me 348.00 plus shipping. Downside, backordered but not a prob. these are the ones https://www.treadwright.com/p-7-235-...ler-m-t-p.aspx

I worked for BFG about 20+ years ago
They ran production on about 60 different tires at any given time
I bet of those 60 maybe 6 were michelin, uniroyal or BFG
the painted on number and letters in the tread area are put on a green tire before it goes in a press
It is possible that more than one brand has the the same green tire (composition) but are in a different mould

I had went back to the TW sight and was having a closer look
At first I couldnt understand the mould marks
I read the "about us"
No thanks on retreads
I have seen the damage and or results of a blown up retread on heavy trucks
Not a fan of coming across slabs of rubber when I ride my motorcycle either
Its impossible to get a perfect bond between the old carcass and the outer tread portion IMO
I think passenger tire retreading here may have been banned years ago
