A/T's getting better traction in Rain???

Granted Ive put less than 1000 miles on my truck since I got it, but I was pretty happy with the Goodyear Wrangler A/T's the dealer put on there. Maybe it's just because they're brand new and have better tread than whatever junk I had on my '93. I had no complaints tho.
