Rims/tires for a stock 96 4wd 4door
hey everyone...
First off...know that i am new to trucks/blazers. I usually play with my 2004 Mach 1...it's a speed thing.
I have a 1996 Blazer LS and it has the weak looking stock rims/wheels on it. I want to add some beef to it!! I drive my blazer off road, through snow, and to and from work in the winter. Does anybody have some suggestions, i don't wanna go to crazy, and don't want it to look goofy either. If anybody has pics that would be GREAT!

Take a look around the forum. This board alone has tons of info on good "beefy" A/T tires you could look at getting. If you'd like different rims take a look into Cragar Soft 8's. They're probably the most common aftermarket rims for the blazer.

I have pics of 2 different wheel and tire combos in my pictures on my profile if you want to check them out.

you're really limited with these 2nd gen trucks, about 30 x 9.5 is the largest you can go on stock suspension.
and if you start going out on the off-set (less than the stock 6 inches), you're gonna run into damaged fender syndrome.
stick with the stock 235/75/R15's and just get some mean rubber. it'll save ya some damage, & give soem clearance for compression on the trails.

i've got a 2" lift with 31x10.50s but ya what the post above says. soft 8s or the ones i have i think they run around the same amount of money.
