On IH8MUD.com they have a full write up on the Modified sticker regulations and rules for WV. Took me about 1.5-2 hours to read and study it! I had holes in the BOTTOM of the rocker panels in front of the rear wheels about half inch wide by inch long. I was failed because they said if there is ANY rust, even if it's just surface rust and no hole, that could snag clothing in the operating or servicing of the vehicle it can't pass. Yet I see trucks with no fenders, no bumpers, tires out a mile wide and rust through the floorboard with new inspection stickers. I guess some people have connections and are invisible to the cops.

Oh and if your tires are two sizes over whats on the door jamb, your required by law to have a modified sticker. So if you had a 1st gen like me that had 205-75-15 factory and you went to 235-75-15. Even though that is standered size of later models, if it's not listed on the door jamb, you have to get modified sticker. And any rim two sizes over stock is suppose to have one but you never see the donks with 26's and 28's and lifts with a modified. It aint fair and Damnit! thread jacking agian! I'm gonna change my name to CaptainScrewed.

haha no its virginia is for lovers, west virginia is wild and wonderful, except evidently about there car laws.

I just never figured that West virgina would be a state with lots of car laws like that. I figured more northern states and california, nevada, etc would be the toughest.
