Wheel Balancing Weight flew off..... GRRRRR
Hey everyone. I noticed that the only small weight (~.25g) on the front left tire was missing. I know exactly where it was because of a dirt outline and a photo of the tire (my mom wanted to see the new tires. I took a photo of the front left tire and sent it to her. It clearly shows where it was.). Is there a way that I can just get a .25g weight somewhere and put another one on without taking it somewhere to get it rebalanced again? I got 800 miles of driving this weekend as part of a road trip to Southern NJ this weekend and I really don't want the vibration if I am going to be driving 65 mph the whole way. Thanks
Yea I don't think it is even worth fixing. I took it up to very high speeds earlier on the interstate. The truck felt pretty stable and I didn't really feel anything weird. I got a long road trip this weekend (to southern NJ) and it is 4- 4.5 hours away from where I am now. Hopefully no issues with that.
I would still get it replaced. go around to local shops and see if they'll sell you one for a couple bucks then just get a small hammer and put it on yourself. you could buy a pack of em at NAPA but they arent cheap
